Good people happen to bad things
Even in all the chaos, there is ripe opportunity to bring God’s light into the world. However, sometimes that light needs to shine brightest a little closer to the light bearers.
The pandemic has had a disasterous effect on many churches around the world. Most churches were not equipped to shift to what is becoming our “new normal”. But that’s the great thing about the “new normal”…anyone, anywhere can quickly provide help with this hieghtend focus on remote collaboration.
How Can We Help?
Within your Local Fellowships, God has given you your talents to be a blessing to now just yourselves but to other fellowships and churches in need! Tithe your time and talents back to Him and see what he will do with it. This happened in Acts and the time of the Early Churchs, during times of war and disaster, and its happening now. God is calling on his people to rise up!

Share your church’s contact information or the information of others. The “digital divide” can make it hard for some churches to make themselves and their needs known.
How to start
- Local fellowship chooses a church to adopt
If your desired church isn’t on the list, please add it! Don’t forget to pray as a group before your decision
- Local fellowship connects with adopted church leadership, listens to their needs, and develope a project plan to help

- Local fellowships work together to meet the needs of their adopted church
You can work with other local fellowships if you need help!
- Log your project adventures and share with community! Ask for prayer, thanksgiving, or help! (no boasting)
Your help can be
- a one time support
- an ongoing basis
Here are a few examples of what can be done: “Your adopted church…”
- Doesn’t have a website and/or online giving capabilities. Let’s build one/add it!
- Wants to start recording, post processing, and sharing their messages, but don’t know how. Help them get their messages out!
- Congregation hasn’t seen each other in a while. Let’s help them set up a zoom party/worship session
- Needs help connecting to each other. Create a/n [e]mailer and templates to help keep the congregation connected
- Is reopening…but they needs some new material needs to keep everyone safe/compliant. Fundraiser or start a donation drive on their behalf
In these times, sometimes all we can do is give it to God.
